What to do in Franklin
Franklin is 20-30 minutes south of Nashville and is the quaintest town that ever was.
If you're coming in from out of town, we'd love to introduce you to our home.
The Factory at Franklin
Right up the road from Downtown Franklin, The Factory is home to a variety of eateries, shops and a Saturday morning farmer's market. Our favorite spots inside are Mojos Tacos, Jeni's Ice Cream and Five Daughters Bakery.
Fall in love with America's Favorite Main Street. Sit outside and grab a glass of wine at JJ's Wine Bar, stroll in and out of the cutest dang boutiques south of the Mason-Dixon and if you're a history buff, you need to check out the guided walking tours!
Leipers is a charming village right outside the most charming Main Street in America. If you're coming in a day early, making a reservation at Puckett's for live music is an absolute MUST. Let's just say, this spot in TN will give you the full southern experience.
If you are a coffee lover, you're going to love Frothy Monkey. A Nashville staple, the Franklin location is housed in the quaintest house at the end of Main Street. While we both drink our coffee black, we hear their lavender lattes are dreamy!
This is our favorite healthy eats spot in all of Nashville. In fact, we love it so much, we have been known to eat here 3 times in less than 24 hours. Brent loves their breakfast burrito and Jena is a fan of their organic salad bar!
While we recommend ALL of the eateries in Downtown Franklin, 55 South is one of favorites - especially for brunch. You get a bit of the Southern vibe without all the grease. Try their hot chicken (a Nashville staple!), house donuts or killer breakfast tacos.
What to do in Nashville
If you can stay an extra day, this may be the perfect weekend to explore Nashville as well!
From the honky tonks on Broadway, to the eateries to the live music - there is something for everyone!
head to broadway
Hall of fame
If you want to hear some live music and experience the honky tonk bars that your favorite country artists have played in, this is the place to be. Nashville's version of Times Square is a must if you want the tourist experience for the weekend.
Where can you find delicious food, craft cocktails and a stellar bowling alley? This local favorite is close to downtown and has something for everyone. Just be sure to book ahead if you want to go bowling!
If you're a country music fan, this weekend is your chance to soak it all in. See exhibits of your favorite stars, get behind-the-scenes footage, and explore what makes Nashville unique. If you're feeling really ambitious, you should take a tour of the Ryman as well!
acme feed & seed
If the bar food isn't really striking your fancy when you're on Lower Broadway, just walk a couple blocks farther and you'll land on one of favorite foodie spots that has something for everyone. Let's just say, it's so good, the locals still go there!
Located in the 12 South area, this taco restaurant is one of Jena's favorite places to grab a margarita, munch on some guacamole and have a great conversation with a great friend. The menu may be a bit confusing, but just trust us - it's fabulous!
This spot is Brent's favorite burger joint. With a beer garden in the back, this is a great spot for a group of people. Their burgers are delicious and the location will lead you to explore East Nashville!
